Movie or Ova? Never watched before

They're both equally shit

I'd go with the OVA first. There are a handful of scenes missing from each version, though, and a few changes and events in different order. If you like the OVA, definitely go back and revisit the movie at some point.

To call Plus masterpiece is overrated, but to say it's shit is an ignorant.

OVA first, for better fight scenes and dat Bryan Cranston

Then watch the movie for tits, a better death scene for Guld, and dat Takumi Yamazaki

If you only watch one I'd definately recommend the OVA over the movie, it also has a pretty good dub if you care about that. if you like the OVA its definately worth watching the movie at least once as well as it has some different scenes but overall I prefer the OVA.

OVA for the manga dub. It's not great by 90s dub standards but Bryan Cranston was perfect for the role.
