Plots become more by the books rebellion stuff, no character gets any decent focus or development, no cool robot -action-, it stops abruptly because the sponsors were killing people with their heaters and the OVAs don't have a decent ending, loli isn't a loli anymore

I don't really see the problem with the second half aside from the shit ending. The story was much more eventful since it wasn't just Eiji and co. meandering around Mars and fending off random attacks every episode.

Instead, there was a much more interesting (and cliched, but that's fine) revolution type story line where we got to see a lot of different aspects of it.

So what happened to those BD subs we were supposed to be getting?

I think msubs wanted to redo the first eight or so hardsubbed episodes from anime-classics. The BDMVs are out so at least we can get less bloaty 720p raws.

They're both great Imo.

Gosterro and the Demon Death Squad were literally a bunch of 80s horror tropes thrown together in a blender.

As for the parts, I'm torn. I was actually surprised that the Earth was completely defeated and subjugated, and that they were so thoroughly ground under. I would have liked to see more, but since it was cut short, and so abruptly at that, I can't say it's better.

Both half had pacing issues, but both had some really cool aspects to them as well. The SPTs and their battles were really great in both.

Majestic Prince is great and M3 is an excellent series.

The episode where Gosterro finally bites it had an amazing fight.

it was what, eleven or twelve minutes long? It went from a gunfight to a fistfight to just a messy brawl with Gosterro running around on foot messing with everybody.
