ZOE is pretty well regarded among PS2 gamers. It's not Metal Gear big but to say it's not popular is pretty disingenuous. 3 games and two anime aren't signs that no one gives a fuck

Popular enough for two PS2 games, one GBA game, a mongolian moving picture and a chinese cartoon series.

A lot of franchises gave been ignored. And frankly Im glad for it. Id rather the series die with dignity than get plodded out year after year for pointless sequels.

It was popular enough for an HD rerelease so it was pretty fucking popular. Just because it isn't COD popular, doesn't mean it isn't popular.
