This seems to be how Bones roll nowadays, look at Concreto Revo and all their one time henshin/gattai scenes.

Its a shame, Captain Earth was so close to being a 10/10 show, but they wasted too much of the last arc on Salty Dog bullshit that we knew didn't matter, and then had to rush the ending as a result in the most unsatisfying way.

I still like the designs and the characters and the setup, but they screwed up the landing.
