Plus at max EN upgrades and with that EN Regen L part (which aren't in TOO high demand and you get 2 or 3 of them anyways) Shin Getter really doesn't have any energy problems in @G.

In @1 on the other hand I almost always had it as Getter 2 since Miracle Drill only costs like 10 EN and one-shot most grunts with a sufficient will advantage anyways. I didn't get much use out of Getter late game honestly.

Chapter 24
This chapter continues straight from the ending of Chapter 23. Emperor Gore and his army is ready for the final assault on Japan however our forces head straight out to fight to Gore. A turn in and Texas Mack shows up to help along with Prof Saotome and Hayato.

When you reduce Gallery's HP to half, we notice that he's absorbing immense amounts of energy and transforms his unit. Doing his best Neo/OE boss impression, Gallery regenerates a couple times before he dies from absorbing too much energy.

Following Gallery's destruction, the CBF heads out to attempt to destroy Gore's barrier as their unit is the strongest and most reliable thing that we have at the moment. They ready Dankuuhou Formation to destroy the barrier but Gore fires his main cannon beforehand and interrupts the firing process. Gore spawns a bunch of Mechasauruses and the CBF start to despair a little. However our friend Rom interrupts the battlefield long enough to stall Gore with his usual monologues.

Following this, Rom tells the CBF not to worry and we have a reinforcement by the name of Ganador. The new ship lead by Dr. Hazuki fires its main cannon which destroys the various Mechasauruses. Hazuki sends a Flight Booster to Dancouga which also comes along with a sword known as the Dankuuken. Hazuki instructs them to use Formation D-III which involves him firing Ganador's main cannon onto the Dankuuken and then Dancouga will redirect the energy onto the target.

We get a little cutscene of the Dankuukougaken MAPW and then they do enough damage to break Gore's barrier. Shou changes to Shin 2 and then drills a hole into the warship.

Inside, we have our final battle against Emperor Gore, the only difference with the source material here is that Fei tells everyone to encourage the Getter Team before they do the God Getter transformation. At the end of the stage, Everyone celebrates and Rom decides to stick around with our army.

Chapter 26
We start off with the Frost Brothers blowing up some Federation facilities. Meanwhile we jump to Elly and Vera who are located on some beach. Turns out that Kinkaid got badly beaten in battle which completely broke Vera's spirit as Captain Vera thinks that Kinkaid or as she calls him, Seabrook is dead.

Elly slaps some sense into Vera and tells her that he'll be okay and that guys like Kinkaid and Fei don't die so easily.

Before the girls can go anywhere, the Frost Brothers decide to attack them in an attempt to lure out the Freeden. Elly tries to fight them off however her unit got damaged in the fall and can't use its Aerods or move properly.

A couple turns in and the Frosts go for the kill, however Rom interrupts them (I really need to get a proper two part midi/mp3 for these scenes) and he distracts the Frosts long enough for Fei to show up and get Olba's pincers from the Vierge. Elly dodges Shagia's Beam Saber and the rest of our army and the Gandor show up.

Wanting to join in the party, the Jupiter Forces appear on the scene including the Death Gales. Their leader makes some few smug comments at the Frosts which upsets Shagia but for the moment, both groups will focus their attention on defeating the Gandor crew.

On stage 31 I counted my deployments, I'm meeting 14/15, IIRC the final stage autodeploys the MC unit, and STILL slaps the 15 unit limit so I only get 14 other deployments.

Chapter 27F Part 1
We start off with Master Asia in some unknown location. He gets a visit from Grapf who asks him how he feels to be back after his "death" at the hands of Domon.

Master Asia isn't particularly amused at Grapf's line of conversation and asks him what he intends to do with the Devil Gundam's power. Grapf tells him a bit of information but it leaves Master Asia speechless.

Over at the Gandor, we're talking about some general stuff involving the ship when we encounter Grapf alone in the way. Fei sorties by himself and everyone else chases after him. Grapf laughs and tells Domon that Master Asia is still among the living. This surprises everyone who was at the Highlands as they witnessed the destruction of the Master Gundam. We ask him about the Devil Gundam's location but all he does is invite both Fei and Domon to meet him at a particular location and shows off a few Death Army units.

Over at the specified location, we meet Grapf and Domon calls out for Master Asia to show himself. Master Asia shows up and the master/student duo have their conversation.

Some Death Army units spawn and now the battle begins.

I'm on a laptop, personally, and it's ~3 years old at this point (running most PS2 games without lag is just a little beyond it). It's the same laptop I use for pretty much everything.

...And it's breaking down, there's this fucking thing that keeps getting into one of the main fans (especially when it's on the move, like when I go for walks), part of the screen... side part, I guess, is unscrewed and falling off, the arrow keys don't work, and the right side is kind of a mess. Chapter 27f Part 2
Continuing on from where we left off, Domon and Fei clean out the Death Army but they have a hard time trying to take on the Master Gundam, Weltall OR pair.

Grahf laughs and decides to use some of his unit's real power in order to spice things up a little. It damages the other three units on the map with some dark energy.

Master Asia asks Grahf if he really intends to betray him and he stats that as long as he has the Devil Gundam, there's no need for people like the Undefeated of the East.

Master Asia decides that now more than ever is the appropriate time for him to teach Domon his school's ultimate technique the "Sekiha Tenkyoken". Master Asia gives Domon a demonstration by using it on Grahf however it wasn't enough to faze him by even the slightest.

Grahf laughs at Master Asia's feeble attempt and Domon tries to attack him with the God Finger, Domon misses his attack and Grahf stats that an attack like that will never work on him. Fei tries to use his moves as well but they also fail.

Master Asia urges Domon use the Sekiha Tenkyoken that he just used on Grahf and with some effort, Domon manages to pull it off and damage the Weltall OR. Fei follows up with his own move and destroys the unit.

The pair of young men listen to Master Asia's final words and Domon grieves for his master. Souring the mood, Grahf returns like if nothing's ever happened to him or his unit and taunts the pair about the Devil Gundam before leaving.

The Gandor arrive on the scene and asks the pair if they're alright. They recap the events to the persons present and not too long after we find out that there's some energy readings similar to the Devil Gundam coming from Zonda Epta, the former federation base that was destroyed by the DX several stages ago. We decide to head to Zonda Epta in order to check it out.

No real write up for Chapter 28 since its just the Lantau Island final battle against Master Asia but this time taking place on Zonda Epta.

There's a few comparisons like Jet comparing Domon's situation to Rom and his brother's and Fei asking Master Asia where Grahf went.

Master Asia dies for real on this stage quite fortunately as his last fight involved him full recovering his unit quite a few times as they needed him to plot dump the G Gundam stuff about the true nature of the Devil Gundam.

In any case, the next chapter deals with the Divinidad from Crossbone.

Chapter 29 - Part 1
This chapter starts off with Tobia, Elly and Garrod in pursuit of Dogachi and the Divinidad.

Reduce him to 50% HP and he'll spawn a bunch of nukes. Tobia'll destroy them with his Murasame Saber which gets congratulations from Garrod and Para. Following this the Frost Brothers show up on the scene and state that there's no more need for the Jupiter Empire in this world and they'll kill Dogachi with their Satellite Cannon MAPW.

Divinidad falls to the ocean and the brothers bring some EF mobile suits with them. Stall a few turns and then Tifa will summon the G-Bits to help with the battle. Our guys will show up shortly after to the scene.

Meanwhile, under the ocean, Dogachi gets visited by Grahf who grants him power according to his wishes. Jamil gets a weird power reading and Domon confirms that its DG Cells. Surfacing from the ocean is Devil Divinidad, an unholy abomination created by Grahf DG Cellifying Dogachi's unit. The Frosts will try to defeat it again using their Satellite Cannon however they fail and DG Dogachi absorbs their units. He then fires the Satellite Cannon at the Earth Force units that the Frosts brought with them which surprises our side.

Grahf does the usual maniacal laughter and Fei taunting before leaving some Death Army units to go along with his DG Divinidad creation. Grahf then leaves the map.

One turn later Tobikage arrives on the scene so that it can assist in the battle against the DG Divinidad.

Voltes grunts are the most annoying shit. They're bizarrely accurate for J enemies and they have way more HP and armor than they should.

that makes sense, since their faction probably has the smallest amount of resources story-wise so they have to make each unit count

Plus come on, they eventually start fielding armor beasts as basic grunts, and those things required Voltes' midseason upgrade to even weaken enough for the tenkuuken to kill

So with the probably event of PV2 on the horizon, how long do you figure the PV will even be? Rather, how long are you hoping for it to be vs. how long you expect it to be?

Personally I'm thinking 10 minutes, 2 of which is devoted to gameplay/menu stuff we know about, and another two devoted to CG intro to the game, if they use that again. So about six minutes of actual attacks.
