G-Reco might've been kinda dull, but at least the setting itself was at least 20x more interesting then Wing's. That's what kept me watching honestly. It wasn't a bad show, but it really did need a shitload more breathing room than what it got. It would probably be on the level of Turn A if it wasn't forced to drop as much as possible on the audience at once to the point where it's near-impossible to follow without rewatching every single episode at least twice. You really can't expect most people to have the patience for that shit.

I didn't have much problem understanding all the information, but I marathoned it so it's probably easier than watching weekly.
But yeah it feels extremely condensed. Maybe when Tomino initally planned it he wasn't sure of how long it would be.

I like G-Reco's setting/plot, mecha and action just fine. it's big glaring flaw is how dull the characters come off as, precisely because there's no time to give them any meaningful focus.
