They removed a lot of gameplay features claiming budget issues (likely due to their poor choice of engine and trying to port to fucking everything).

4 million isn't that much for all the retarded shit they tried to do.
First as far as I know UE3 is not the best engine to do 2D platformers. Then came the issue that they had stretch goals to port it to portables that do not uspport UE3, and had to make a new game from scratch for them.
THEN you have all the retarded attempts to branch out and have cartoons and spin offs and what not before this shit was even out.
Then you have the delays stretching the production time even further. And probably there's internal problems that haven't even surfaced yet.

I'm not saying it's not their fault, it literally is. Inafune and this game fully deserve all the shit they're getting. But this "4 million is so much money, they just got the money and scammed everyone with this game" meme needs to die.

Continuing on this poster... X4-6 were not as fast as a Zero series game. Going back to them was completely jarring and like with transformers: we seem to remember everything looking like the 1980's animated movie. X7 was extremely slow, X8 was way better and faster, Command Mission was pretty good, battle network was fun, the zero series was really fast and pretty solid but a bit unpolished in some entries, Maverick hunter was well done, ZX was the same, and ZXA was polished. Games like Gunvolt retained the speed, but they could have made more use of his electrical powers. And, the major thing that sticks to you guys is delays. For fuck sakes, things get cut out of games all of the time, but this is one of the most butthurt over a dumb reason thing I have seen. Duke Nukem deserves everything it gets for delays in decades, this is like a year at most most. Is my fandom really that much of a spoiled brat? I'm just enjoy my backlog of fairies, militarized farm tools, Turn A, fantasy highjinks, Sci-fantasy highjinks that need a bigger gun, A hairy witch, a fisherwoman, and model kits galore.
