It was fun for the first 10 or some episodes, but the rest of the series felt like it really dragged on. And yet, the ending still felt really rushed and the things they tried to build towards ended up being a whole lot of fucking nothing.

I'm a few episodes behind, but it's a fun show. It's not a hardcore battletech, it's more about the characters and trouble they get themselves into. The GM is great, I'm glad he is working on the game as well.

I enjoyed it, but then again I'm not one of the mangafags, or someone who whines about CG at every possible opportunity.

It definitely has flaws (even if you don't hate CG, you have to go in with the understanding that it's imperfect), but taken as its own show I enjoyed it and was not disappointed. Just something you have to watch for yourself and form your own opinion for.

I prefer to think of it as a more faithful translation.

Finished the manga and honestly it could have been so much more, also why did it seem like the threat of the weird alien things was suddenly a lot smaller.
At the start it seemed like there are far to many of those gauna, that they would never be able to kill of them and maybe only through finding a way to communiate and coexist could they win.
But then it suddenly boiled down to defeat that ernomously big seed ship or what it was and every alien is dead.........
Also yeah Tsumugi and her miraculous recovery, in my eyes that means author didnt give a fuck anymore and just wanted to end it.....

The problem is that he got lazy with the arms race that Sidonia had going. It was cool that the way that combat worked in the setting radically changed with the introduction of effective ranged weapons but he failed to keep the stakes raising.
