The boy grew up, he did not, one of their former associatives remarks on how Kintoki did in fact not age like everyone else, so he clearly isn't meant to be a dwarf either.

The high school drama is potentially the cheesiest Garo has ever been, I think. Not the good/fun sorta cheese either.

Goofy teacher Daigo was fun though, it was weird how the story acknowledged how silly he was (cutting off his monologue about the pen, him confronting the horror on the roof by blowing his P.E whistle, etc) but played everything else about the dumb story completely straight.

I feel as if Retsuden lends itself better to this kind of hit-or-miss episodes. It means that on one hand if they have a bad episode, next week doesn't have to bother with proceeding from there, but the same is true for good episodes like the one with Wataru.

I'm not sure if it's mainly the difference in lighting, but the etched lines on Kouga's versions never make the suit look that blingy. Sometimes the bling on Kouga's might have actually made the etched lines less noticeable even.

Will we ever get Honoo no Kokuin BDs? Do they fix anything?

so im watching the first Anime and its pretty goo so far, its giving me that feeling of "just one more ep"
but something is triggering my autism, so far throughout the series the untransformed version of a makai knights weapon is a more diminutive form of it, Garo's Sword is a hiltless straight blade, Zero's twin short swords and small straight blades, Gai's Huge bladed Bow turns into a regular hunting bow with blades on it, ect ect
but in the series we have Zoro's chained blades that untransformed are two knives in no way attached to the wrist, and Gaia's huge fuck off sword is half the size of the untransformed Garo blade.
and this raises my hackles something fierce

The Saejima family is an exception. Apparently most Makai Knights (particularly title-less ones) are penniless nomads or live with very few material possessions (e.g. Rei and his nearly empty "apartment" in a seemingly abandoned building). It's probably based on where on the Knight title hierarchy one sits. Ryuga is kind of an exception because he lives in a time where the Makai order is more or less barely hanging on and probably doesn't have the resources to afford luxuries for their people.

Yamigirishi is like the 3rd main job type in the Garo world. It's there to hunt down both fallen knights and priests.
So far we saw priests and priestesses doing the job but it doesn't limit the chance for knights with some magic power being part of it.
By adding that more new jobs will probably be introduced in time.
