The Ghost SHF probably haven't been up to snuff in the preorders department. Bandai is probably afraid of even releasing just all of the 4 protos they've made now. That's why we have only ever been seeing base forms and straight power ups in SHF so far barring lone Musashi.

Showa-esque is too boring, it's not even "simple". Ghost Ore has a good simple design, Kuuga does not. Ultimate Rising is not overdesigned in any way, it's very well designed and makes him look actually intimidating and demonic instead of a plastic suit man.
