Hello all! With a big thanks to Nozaku for his translation work, volume two of the Gundam Beast series is now available in English. I'm really happy to be able to bring this to you all. Enjoy!

> Pilot suit that focuses on shock absorption and actually bolts into the seat rather than using seatbelts
> Pilot helmet has a swapable rear plate to accommodate female pilots with long hair
Holy shit that's great.
Any idea what the FGM in the Kozuki Woods logo signifies?

>Any idea what the FGM in the Kozuki Woods logo signifies?
Afraid not. This might be something that will come to light in the "Side Kagerow" artbook, which stars a badass black ninja variant of the Volf Gundam and seems to focus on the Kozuki Woods crew.
this thread needs to be higher in the catalog
I'd watch this, shame it won't be animated.
Huge props to you guys, you've been pumping out material even faster than usual lately. Great job to everyone who helped.
>>14245035
Seatbelts are better for shock and helmets can already fit a lot of hair in them. Taking off the back part is just dangerous.
Still, my autism will not stop me from enjoying this. Really cool book.
Feet: Chaos
Legs: TBD
Shoulders: Akatsuki
Crotchpiece: Dreadnought
Skirts, Arms, Torso, Head: Scratch-built
You could probably make some of these with less effort than they appear to require if you don't have to factor in a transformation system.
Glad folks are enjoying it! Current plan is to do MSV-R Volume 11 next, and then G-Beast Lizards (fucking DINOSAURS!) afterward.
>>14244931
Is there a link to the first as well?
>>14246325
Yes, here you go! I'll try to remember to put links up for previous volumes in the OP posts for subsequent releases.

>>14246330
Thanks dude for the link and your hard work! Looking forward to reading these.
>>14246336
Glad to hear it! I'm a huge fan of this doujin series and am very happy to be able to share it with all of you.
Thanks to this >>14244931 awesome gentle/m/an.

> Volf's thing is to control 'drones' called 'Jons'
Like man-size drones? Drone suits? Should I be worried the miko has lots of Johns?
>>14246834
Haha, I'm not sure actually! There's no artwork for them that I'm aware of, not even in the Kagerow book.
>>14246834
>>14246844
I'm hoping they appear in the 4th and 5th volumes, which we are in the process of acquiring. I was a little hesitant with the transliteration of "Jon" for ジョン without having something official to go by.
>>14247222
Unless I'm missing artwork (I have the basic MS art but not the actual pages with profiles) from those books, I don't think that they do. :(
I still wish this was an actual anime.
It'd probably be more interesting than the latest batch of Gundam we've gotten (except Unicorn and Thunderbolt).
>Intended to be marketed to a younger audience.
>MC's sister is a half-insane cannibal due to her Beast Factor and experimentation by the Feds and has to wear a restraining mask.
>The Miko representing a supposedly neutral party is also slightly crazy; especially on a full moon.
>Tigris is intended to be utilized in especially violent battle scenes.
>Beast Factor humans are more animalistic in personality, only held back by their human ideologies.
Although this time it does the Kira/Athrun friendship thing with one of them being an actual girl.
Looking forward to what insanity is present amongst the ninja group, Kagerow.
>>14247222
>which we are in the process of acquiring
How's that going anyway? What are ya'll missing?
>>14251879
Don't forget that his wingperson is a hermaphrodite.
>>14251782
>hiraiface
but i'll take this than IBO or more GBF
So what is this exactly?
Estrus? Is this really named after animals being in heat? horny beastly gundam? wtf man.
>>14251782
Zoids x Gundam
Out of all the Gundam shit out there, time was wasted on this fan-wank crap instead of stuff that people want. Le sigh... I guess we'll never get to read stuff fans want...
>>14252249
A group fan project that got to use the Gundam name.
Mostly just a series of animal-themed Gundams designed for a fictional series.
>>14253021
Did you forget that this series is revolving around animalistic instincts? Earthlings in-series are basically borderline Wulgaru.
>>14253655
If only. Would have been a great means of reviving Zoids indirectly, if not directly.
>>14247222
Which volume is what, if I may ask?
Of the untranslated bits and I ran across on /m/, there is:
Beast Kagerow
Beast Lizards
Beast Insects
Beast Fragments
Beast Graphica
>>14253913
>bits and pieces*
>>14253919
>>14253926
I forgot, there's also Gundam Beast: Finals
>>14253929
>>14253933
>>14253939
>Fainals
this concepts seems waaaaay better than the actual last 3 real gundam shows we got
Zechs may have been able to defeat Cancer, but would he have been able to defeat the Kraken?
>>14253964
>wanna see my giant cock harder than steel
Is this thing supposed to intimidate people or was it made solely for lame pick-up lines?
>>14253913
These are just the ones I currently have full copies of.
Gundam Beast volume 1
GB Estrus volume 2
GB Lizards volume 3
GB Finals volume 6
GB Side Kagerow (side story)
>>14254271
translate the one with elephant gundam
>>14254172
No idea. Don't know runes.
But the same booklet with the rooster MS is dedicated mainly to aquatic MS with a few unusual land MS, such as a 9-tailed fox MS and 2 dragon MS (one of which looks similar to a Korean dragon mech from a game that shut down).
>>14252062
>>14251879
It's all very 70s, that's for sure.
>>14254838
>>14255517
Except not at all, but okay
>>14255517
Technically more 90s. The intro pages for the first volume basically said they imagined the series being created in a timeline where the 90s anime boom didn't crash, notably with Gundam (they cited Gundam X's sudden cancellation), and instead another Gundam series was created with the intention of pushing transformable Gundams.
There's also the unsaid fact that Zoids was popular for a time as well.
>>14254271
So it's Beast, Estrus, Lizards, Versus, Insects, and Final? With Kagerow and Fragments as side materials?
Is this like a new G-Gundam?
Seriously though these animal gundams are interesting. Like transformers meets Gundam or something.
>>14261610
*Zoids meets Gundam
Ftfy senpai
>>14261626
Actually yeah, that's a much better analogy. I was thinking of Beast Wars where a lot of the robots had the animal heads on their chest.
Shit, I forgot about Zoids: New Century. May have to check that one out again.
>>14261626
Quite literally in some cases.
>>14261626
>>14261650
Ironically that's what Versus seems to be about. Also gives us some kind of smoking hot Diana/Fiona fusion.
>>14261597
Yes, that seems to be the line up.
>>14261671
I must say, that Diana-like female is pretty sexy. I wonder if she's also crazy behind that ojou-sama facade.
Given the setting, I expect almost everyone to have some level of insanity due to the Beast Factor.
>>14257733
>>14254838
Well isn't that just prime?
>>14265884
Could be, if it didn't have the mouth vents.
>>14254838
>>14257733
>>14265936
I just like how they integrated the ZOO helix logo into it.
So how many of these books are there?
>>14270986
7, if not 8.
Graphica is just still images, and Kagerow is technically a sidestory.
I wonder what Neko Clyne's story is. And if you're able to get her into heat.
>>14253893
Look up what estrus means.
>>14272696
The original 'Gundam Beast' books under Atelier Tobiuo were Beast, Estrus, Lizards, and Kagerow. At some point in 2011 the group seems to have petered out (their site went dormant Jan 2012). Kuramochi had Z:Beast and the (rebranded) G:Beast Fragments ready for Winter Comiket 2011. G:Beast Fragments is mostly just a compilation of the first four books reworked into the new format. From there came G:Beast Versus (a crossover with Z:Beast, but it IS listed as Vol 4 in its back page), then Insects and Finals, all as Kuramochi Zukan.
So all told you have 6 volumes, a series recap, a sidestory, an artbook, and a spinoff. And THEN there's also the cameo pages from the back of the SDJ books that were coming out around the same time.
I actually remember making up a "synopsis" of this if it was a series. I think it sounds interesting. Curious what /m/ thinks of it:
The year is Divine Century 099. Almost 300 years has passed since the great war; a war between what was then space colonies and Earth and almost 100 since the fall of the sacred mobile suit known as Gundam which brought Zooist beliefs thay ended the Dark Ages of Earth. Earth and their inhabitants have since been reconditioned to never reach the stars again and has became a playground for the spacefolk. Now monitored by the Zoo Institute and the false relgion known as "Zooism" where space travel is taboo as beyond those clouds is known to be as the domain of the Gods, the Earthlings are now under total control of the spacefolk and they don't even know it. Now, The Zooists constantly continue their crusade to convert all Earthlings to their religion and the Earth has been at constant on and off war.
Every year, a Gundam falls from the sky, and the sacred ritual of selection begins. The Gundam has always chosen those who believe, but this ritual the 100th fallen Gundam known as the Hundred Gundam chose Chihiro Seto. A person labeled a heretic on the day of the ritual.
Tried my best to lay it out but tl;dr It's G-Reco but Space travel never happens and the MC actually sides with a faction.
