Is this the most /m/ video game ever?
No? All the ones that have outright robotsi nstead of weird stone god guys that ride spaceships are probably more /m/.
And more game.
>>14236139
It does have outright robtos though
>>14236139
If I remember correctly all of the gods were actually robots.
>>14236207
The demigods were all heavily robotic cyborgs, except olga who was fully organic.
The shinkoku army were all complete robots I think though
It is.
Dude have you played Strikers 1945 in your life?
If your game's idea of boss fights isn't "surprise, it's a giant robot!" then you can't compete.
What was your favorite moment?
>Hurtling through earth's atmosphere as the Shinkoku space fleet battles gohma around you and you punch vlitra into submission
>Fighting against Wyzen as he became kaiju and then planet sized
>Hot springs
>Facing off against Augus on the moon and getting skewered against the earth
>Asura losing it over the girl dying and obliterating an entire armada in thee span of 2 minutes
>Yasha's trench run to stop the Brahmastra
>Sergei getting fucking rekt
>Yasha's space motorcycle
>The battle against Deus
>The battle against the evolved Vlitra and then vlitra's asura clone in the core of the earth
>The final battle against yasha as he sacrifices himself
>Growing to the size of a planet and flying through space as Chakravartin threw plants and stars at you
>The final battle inside the event horizon when chakravartin gets his own QTE's to counter yours and kill him, making the big bang
>>14236328
I have to say Augus' boss battle became my favorite when I realized it was set to Dvorak
Nah, even the latest Kirby is more /m/ than Asura's Wrath. Whoever imagined that Shinya Kumazaki was building up to this all along?
>>14236319
You have to admit, Psikyo were based when it came to that.
>>14236371
It's been years since I've seen Gurren Lagann, but every time I see art done in the style of its ad bumpers, that jingle still plays perfectly in my head.
Many older games are much more /m/.
>>14236328
Definitely the moon.
>>14236128
most /m/? not really, plenty of /m/ games around, german version ofContra was pretty /m/. Asura's Wrath was fun as hell though I give them that, QTE boss battle and all.
>paid dlc ending
this was the only thing that really pissed me off about it, fuck you crapcom
>>14236455
>this was the only thing that really pissed me off about it
It's shitty but the actual DLC was fucking amazing
>>14236328
Having to pay money to see the ending to a movie I already paid $60 for.
not even top 100
>>14237156
Jehuty is in a super robot wars game?
>>14237309
I wish.
>>14236128
No, this is.
>>14237156
>>14236421
>>14236139
>quantity of robots = more /m/
shit way to measure it.
>>14237156
Every night before going to sleep I regret selling my ZoE copy.
>>14236128
Not even close.
But no seriously, why is this the one game Capcom doesn't like videos of on youtube and they autoflag it no matter what?
Didn't Itano work on this game? I saw some of it on a video game stream some time ago, and I saw his name in the credits.
>>14237634
Probably because it's more of an interactive anime then a game and you can more or less get the full experience by watching it on youtube
>>14236371
Seriously though, on top of all the bosses being robots in disguise, Strikers '45 is a lot of fun on its own.
Granted from a game design perspective it's kinda jank compared to the improvements brought in the sequel, but I don't think you ever got to fight random out of nowhere trenchcoat guy in any of the other games in the series.
>>14236128
Asura's Wrath was garbage.
The most /m/ game ever is none other thanTHE WONDERFUL 101.
>>14238547
>tokushit
>/m/
pick one
>>14236402
>ad bumpers
*eyecatch
>>14237331
Except not at all. That is what makes something /m/ in the first place and directly effects it.
>>14238553
CONFIRMED FOR SHIT TASTE AND NEVER HAVING PLAYED THE GAME
>>14236128
It was very Kyomu Senki so sure
>>14238596
Not him but I have, and it was pretty much solely tokushit with an awful robot. Something that nobody on /m/ with any worth would ever consider good for /m/ qualities.
>>14238547
>Asura's Wrath was garbage.
>implying
>>14238800
>an awful robot
>implying singular
It's actually something like 200 or 215.
Supreme commander?
>>14236319
That game still inspires me today.
>>14236128
/m/ in hot blooded way but not really in general. it's more of a shounen shit
>>14243564
>but not really in general
The members of the cast who aren't cyborgs, androids, automatons, and so forth are in the minority.
It is, by definition, /m/.
>>14243620
yes madoka is /m/ too ;^)
>>14238547
>Platinumshit
>>14236128
Barely a video game, and not even close.
Anybody Blue Dragon here?
>>14244304
>hipster
>>14245038
mein neger
>>14245150
Vanquish stronk
>>14236455
>german version of Contra was pretty /m/
Probotector, I was playing that recently. Might be the only time censorship attempt brought something good.
I always say every game can be improved if you replace the characters with robots.
The robots returned in Contra 4, so you can consider them part of the series now.
>>14245150
>SHINING FINGEEER!
>>14246151
>Dragonar 1 and Ingram's bizarre adventures: the videogame
>>14246501
They are supposed to be inspired by Briareos from Appleseed. But they clearly had other source material as well.
>>14246151
I wonder what enemies that one's manual told you they were fighting, since the US one had oh-so-funny jokes about Gulf War public figure pastiches or somesuch.
I would say the most /m/ game would be Carnage Heart.
Even a trained monkey can pilot a mech. It takes a /m/an to build one.
