I mean, I'm >>14233044 and I don't mind those times either. They make sense and advance the story, even if there's a lot of them. I also don't mind when it happened to Takeru, because that time also made sense. He'd been trying understanding for a while, got burned something fierce by what happened in the Ganma world, and went "fuck it, I'm not helping these assholes anymore". It's not like Alain was actually on his side yet either. That didn't finish happening until last week, after about ten weeks of Alain being told to follow his heart until he finally understood what that meant. It was still definitely shitty of Takeru, but that's human. People get frustrated and angry, and when someone's pissed off with no real outlet for it they tend to act like a shitty person for a little while.
