I hope you've watched everything up until CCA, while it doesn't directly reference them (much), the setting is more enjoyed if you're familiar with them.
also it has some weird tidbits of info, like that paris got destroyed by a colony drop during the OYW

It's actually kind of cool as an alternate UC timeline. It's been retconned out of existence, but MSG and Zeta are canon to it.
