Yeah but this is giving me heavy Final Fantasy X vibes. You got heavyhanded "This is my story!"/"A Ganma killed me on me 18 birthday", and then a little into the story the game/show is basically revolving around the real protagonist.

Man this is really confusing to me because Alain is my brother's name.

Yeah, the one thing that bothered me was how Saionji teased Alain with Takoyaki and even taught him what they were called. Makes the scene later on with Fumi where he continues to mistake them for Eyecons kind of dumb. Ehhh... Oh well.
