What for? We all know he ends alone, miserable and failed at everything; killed by his own son.

Han Solo is barely a distinct character; he's Harrison Ford in space. That's the appeal. I don't want to see someone do a Ford impression in a cutesy story where you see how he met Chewbacca, how he got the Falcon, and how he found a set of clothes in Lando's old closet that just happen to be his iconic outfit.

I'm not terribly fond of this idea, but if they're going to make a Solo origin film then they're virtually mandated to find someone else to play him.
