The Tallgeese mastery doesn't necessitate superhumanity though, since it was designed by and for humans. Not many can master it, and that was one of the reasons it was scaled down to the Leo, but a regular human can master it. He wasn't even the only one, since Trieze did too.

Normal humans struggle with both gee force and high acceleration. That doesn't mean some humans can't withstand them, like test pilots, astronauts etc. Same for Wing. Zechs doesn't need to be superhuman to do what he does.

Not every Newtype is a super ace pilot, while everyone who uses the Zero or Epyon System becomes unbeatable. Which one bends battles more? Has anyone even given any actual thought to what the Zero System does, vaguely it "shows the future" but is that the immediate future, the far future, the future of battle, etc? No, it just shows what the current pilot needs to see so they can pilot uninhibited. Without restraint, it doesn't do anything analogous to the mysticism of Newtypes.
