For one, it's about getting it out there for people to experience, and not trying to make money when you don't own the IP which is both wrong and illegal. Second, the 100 people buying it from Japanese outlets and showing proof of purchase doesn't matter shit. The series will continue regardless. Third, they translate from fucking Chinese and not Japanese so that's another reason why not to bother.

there's still a torrent up to vol 29 in kickass torrents, after that the30-32 are raw only which they are in nyaa along with the older volumes. i think at that point your best chance is reading the raws since no one else will give a shit anymore

Guyver had a couple of American movies, the not-so-good one where Mark Hamill isn't the Guyver and the pretty good one where David (Bernie/Solid Snake) Hayter is the Guyver.
Fist of the North Star's had a few productions from different lands including one with Vader as Mister Heart. During filming Vader stiffed Stunt Ken and knocked him out.

2005 anime is the closest to the source adaptation, the 12 ep ova of the 90s changes some stuff, it also feels that the second half suffers of lack of budget and is less gory than the first half, and the even older ova just adapts like the first 4 chapters of the manga, it also adds a new female guyver who is added to the manga like 20 volumes later

She's from the first ever Guyver OVA, where the person who got Guyver 2 wasn't Lisker but some hot chick who got tentacle raped by her Guyver unit. She died just like Lisker did but the manga author apparently liked her enough to bring her back twenty five years later and make her a good guy this time. She's Lisker's step-sister in this, out for revenge on Cronos Corp. Her Control Metal's synthetic so she has slightly less control over her Guyver Unit and can't stay transformed too long, but her power source is slightly more energy efficient that Guyver 1 or 3's.

Shin is oddly the closest you'll get to Guyver in tone down to being made the same time as the live action movies so they have that really awesome suit with animatronics built into the mask to really convey the feeling Shin is a living being.
