Sadly last time I checked a lot of episodes had gotten taken down. Probably around the time ownership of the property changed hands back to Joel.

But at the same time, the official mst3k channel occasionally uploads hi-def, annotated episodes for free. So it's a crapshoot right now.

club-mst3k is a great resource for streaming eps too

I rarely encounter more than a handful of episodes offline at any point. Most commonly down that I've seen are The Thing That Couldn't Die, The Space Children, Bride of the Monster, and the Godzilla movies.

The annotated stuff is neat, but if you're keen on them you may want to figure out how to download the annotations. Seems that Shout rotates them in and out of active service.

I think the better question is, Joel could control when a movie began and end, but used those parts to make the robots. Servo can duplicate himself, couldn't he use the clones of Servo to harvest them for parts to try to rebuild the device that let him control when a movie aired?

As Servo. Kevin wasn't really a writer for KTMA because in reality, most of that season was done in improv (which is a lot of why Joel doesn't think is good in comparison). Season 1 was when they started writing, and Mike was head writer for basically the show's entire running once they started writing the episodes.

Yeah as far as I understand Kevin was more a random behind-the-scenes guy at the station that ended up joining the MST crew as it grew. He's in some station ads and other random stuff back in the KTMA days

Easiest way to parse the early MST is like KTMA was the closed beta test, Cable Season 1 as the open beta.

I got used to Kevin's Servo quickly enough but Josh did a fine job too.

There's some decent stuff buried in the KTMA content. By the time they get to K07 Gamera vs Zigra they've got some momentum and are starting to figure out a rhythm. Some of the stuff they didn't do later like Phase IV, Cosmic Princess, Humanoid Woman, Death Flight, Supderdome, City on Fire, Hanger 18, Last Chase and Legend of Dinosaurs are definitely worth checking out. Many of the host segments can hold their own too.

Dr F's daughter and TV's Son Of TV's Frank vs a guy named Jonah and his robot pals Crow and Tom Servo. I think this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7FsXqidZgG4 is the new Crow and Servo in action, but I'm not sure.
I read an interview with new Servo's voice guy and he brings up The Last Dragon so that's cool.
This time they're being voiced by a different person than the person operating the puppet. Not sure how that'll work out. On the good side it means we'll avoid Crow having another stroke before the new season, on the bad side it'll affect the way improvising would play out.
There's some concept art for Bobo, no clue if it's going to be used. From the behind-the-scenes stuff I've seen that's out there it looks like this is a lot more ambitious than just throwing them in a fake set like the "How to get rid of your Godzilla vs Megalon DVD" extra segment.
