I only played Medarot 1-5 so I still haven't played Delta Arts games but this is pretty fucking sad. Medarot never gets the love it deserves.

9 is an RPG while Girls is 3rd Person Action game made by a different company. They're hardly alike and the moeblobs don't have anything to do with the closing of this studio.

Dual and Girls are the most similar to Custom Robo. There's also Infinity on the Gamecube but it's not that good.

Since this is the Medarot thread...

Most of the spinoffs I played so far were pretty bad. Medarot R is a crappy retelling of Medarot 2 with different characters and load times out the ass. Medarot Navi was fun at first, looks good and features some very interesting design ideas. Characters suck but Medarot design is pretty damn good. Alas, I can't digest SRPGs and I got stuck and lost the motivation to play.

Medarot G is pretty fun. This one got localized but changed a lot. In the Japanese version they use characters and bots from Medarot 5, and you play as Koishimaru. For the NA release Medarot AX they use Ikki and the gang. Once I'm done with this game it's Medarot DS.

I don't really like AX.
It just doesn't feel that good to play. It's chaotic, the hit detecton is weird, and pulling out move isn't satisfying.

Franchise, you donut, not solely the RPG series, which were still dying by each iteration. GM was still an effort to tap into what should've been a catchall category, but in the end I doubt it helped sales of any of the games beyond what they usually got.

Well, I've got an ISO of infinity/Brave on my computer so I ought to give it a shot.

Anyone know how long G/AX is? I kind of like it because I get to see the Medarot 5 cast again but the gameplay gets repetitive.
