The translator is someone with an inadequate grasp of English who managed to get their hands on a thesaurus and anyone defending this incoherent gibberish is clearly someone who has problems understanding English, let alone Japanese. A kataki is a Japanese concept which is why Japanese-English dictionaries have problems giving a proper translation and have wildly inaccurate approximations instead (google just gave me "enmity" which is absolutely wrong), but anyone with a decent grasp of the language should know what it means (target of reprisal for vengeance) because it's a really fucking common word. The expression "like the kataki of your parents" is an everyday phrase. It's impossible to be actually fluent in the language and not know what it means. The translator clearly had to have to rely on a fucking Japanese-English dictionary which gave them nonsense like "enmity", and then ran it through a thesaurus to cover up how it doesn't make any fucking sense.

But nah, resupply tops at 800 EXP. Repair grind meanwhile can give you at most 3000-4000 EXP if the level between the pilot who's trying to repair and the pilot who's being repaired have a 10 level gap. 500 EXP otherwise if you're just repairing yourself if from red health to full. Which is why sometimes it's good to fully upgrade the health of those guys who are about to get MAP'd.

Setsuko route, the first one I got to level 99 was Katz because I needed Confuse ASAP. Boss got to be number 2 and he was in the Great Mazinger for a long time. Then I concentrated on getting Amuro to level 99 because he's the only guy who had Zeal until I recruited Four. And Amuro is so fucking versatile in Z it's not even funny.

-Almost all the plot happens in route splits (it was completely in route splits for Z3)
-TV show has the first arc happen in one game (Z2.1), the second arc happens in an early route split for Z2.2, the third arc is skipped (bits and pieces show up in a stage or 2), and the last arc is in another route split).
-Z3.1 has big battle happen in, you guessed it, another route split
-Shining Heresy happens across a few route splits, skipping a few parts of the plot
-Z3.2 goes fucks it all up by making Alone Again a single stage that barely includes anything from the plot (just the black Scopedogs, Titania helping out, the Church attacking, and an attack for Chirico's Scopedog), and to make things worse, Phantom Chapter is included but they did NOTHING with it (the only thing used from Phantom Chapter is a portrait that's used in the game, nothing else shows up).

OE was great for early VOTOMS. All of Roots was covered in Chapter 1 and 2 (when you get the Roots/LRS squad, unfortunately without Carson to match up to LRS), then Pailsen Files was done in full in Chapter 4 with the whole squad living (you know, if you want Kolchak for some reason), then Woodo was done in Chapter 5 and you got Chirico, Ru Shakp, and Vanilla, and then LRS was in Chapter 7.

And that was it, which was rather annoying. The ending apparently implies Kummen is about to happen. So if they compressed a bit they could have done all the plot, but what they had was pretty well done. It's just, they do things like give the Pailsen squad no Hot Blood (it's ok support but it can't boss kill thanks to that) and force you to keep every squad on level, lest force deploys in Chapter 7 end your run.
