what are you implying with that filename op
>>14132829
I don't remember this
>>14132862
He is one of the assassins that Ryoma fights IIRC
Ishikawa was a racist and a bigot. Schwartz was his self-insert and that's why he made Sho his waifu.
>>14132916
>a racist and a bigot
Wanna elaborate on that, buddy?
>>14132834
Nuffin'.
>>14132916
Schwartz was my self insert too
Truly based
>>14132916
You need some proof to back up that outrageous statement, buddy.
>>14133690
The evidence is on facebook right now. Look for it.

Not the first I've heard of it.

>>14137214
Is that meant to be an insult? You disappoint me.
>>14132829
So bad it's good.
not as bad as yokoyama's manga
>>14132829
Never heard of it
>>14139217
Good. Keep it that way.
>>14137748
In what ways?
>>14139228
Good or bad?
>>14139239
Either or. I've just always hated the "it's so bad it's good" mentality.
>>14139251
Why? Sometimes things are so awkward and stupid, it's fun to watch. Like half of every Tomino show.
>>14139284
Because it means you're mentally retarded and don't have even a lick of taste.
>>14139223
It's a joke, anon. Just like this thread.
>>14139301
This is just rude.
>>14139339
Rude, but true.
>>14139346
No, it's not. I have a different opinion on a Nipanese coloring album, you can't say such things just because you're not agree.
>>14139346
>>14139353
You just got checked.
>>14139353
I can say such things because I'm not agree, believe it or not.

It's legal but not moral.
>>14139383
Irrelevant to how it is.

moral -

I refuse to reply to such an uncultured person anymore. Work on your manners.

I'm neither.

It doesn't matter. I don't like you the same way I don't like spics.
>>14137771
Maybe if you're a insecure teenager.

Is this possibly the genuine article? The real, true dago? It's an insecure by the way.
>>14139852
found the yokoyamafag who's been ruining getter threads lately
you still mad that no one is talking about your favourite artist? because that's kinda pathetic
cry me a river
>>14139885
>>14139903
Please, you don't need me for ruining Getter threads in a long, long time. Yokoyama is not even my favorite, that would be Hox's territory.
>>14139735
>Oh the edge
>>14139917
>Yokoyama is not even my favorite
sure thing spic
>>14132941
he's not wrong
If you read that panel left to right its about a man so black he becomes dark matter as everything around him explodes with dark energy.
>>14141529
But we're gonna need sources and examples. Elaborate.
>>14141545
The absolute madman.

>What does /m/ think of the original Getter Robo manga?
- The missile machine gun is ridiculously fun.
- The art is quite crude, but I expected that, since Ishikawa worked with Go Nagai, who also has super crude art (Even and especially in Devilman, which was my favorite work by Go).
- Considering what happens later in the story: the Getter is pretty scary, gives me a similar vibe that Ideon gave, though I feel Getter may be slightly less manipulative.
>>14141827
The strange part about Go Nagai, and most manga artists of that period, is that they could draw really well. Many of them were excellent painters and inkers. But do to a mixture of stylistic decisions and extreme time constraints, they drew in a crude style that hasn't aged well.
It probably didn't help that they were all running several manga at the same time and were overworked to hell and back.
>think of the original Getter Robo manga?
Wonky proof of concept that was later reworked into something magical. But you can still see streaks of that potential in the original work. Also it was fun.
>>14142587
The crude art adds to the experience.
You're not reading some shoujo bishounen manga for fuck sake.
Also, hayato's school house chapter wouldn't be as good as it was with less crude art.
>>14132829
It's great. It's a little dated but especially for its time, it's all around fantastic.
>>14142598
> You're not reading some shoujo bishounen manga for fuck sake.
I'm now reminded that crude shoujo bishounen manga-art is a thing, and it's often hilarious because it tries to be super pretty, but ends up just looking weird and goofy.
Really, some shoujo stuff can get SO pretty that it becomes kind of silly, though it still has a ton of personality to it.
Homogenized styles are the cancer killing art in general. There is no "right" way.
>>14142638
So Getter is the only thing you've seen from around that time then.
>>14142638
>fantastic
It's like Mazinger Z except worse. It's a mess. The first volume wasn't so bad and had some good parts but it gets worse as it goes on. Even junk Nagai manga is better.
>>14143813
>that filename and post in general
Hello there cold lady anon, how are you doing today?
>>14143817
My stupid out of context image gave it away, huh? In any case, what I really meant is that the original Getter Robo starts off good but slowly goes down hill.
Mazinger Z was much better. The villains had personality, personal flair, troops and were very different from one another not to mention actually entertaining. Getter Robo? You get none of that. It's kinda the same thing over and over. Faceless bad guys who get killed and are not interesting while the Mazinger Z villains come back after they're beaten and stay around because they're actual characters unlike Getter. And that's just scratching the paint, but let's save that for my review.
Getter Robo panels still have better "flow" and direction than most modern stuff.
I try reading Linebarrels and Shin Mazinger Zero and I almost get a fucking headache, it's worse than Part 5 Araki and that's saying something.
>>14147439
Yeah yeah, you have fun making the same kind of post you did in the Mazinger or Getter thread a while ago.
