Gjallarhorn were so fucking stupid and aside from Chocochar, who didn't even give us anything interesting until the last episode, they all had retarded and childish motivations. They were motivated by pride, by their own hubris. If they "lost" in battle they'd go full retarded and hold a grudge against a bunch of child soldiers and suicidally chase them down, they wanted to engage in "noble" notions of war after they literally murdered comrades of people, they started false flag ops, they were cowardly and had no integrity. They were absolute imbeciles. Tekkadan had shitty and underdeveloped writing, but the reasons they were fighting at least made sense. McGillis is right to reform Gjallarhorn because as they stand they're a bunch of retards.

McGillis was basically the reason Tekkadan even survived. Montag essentially gave them weapons whilst Macky himself lined up their opponents as the chess master make a dramatic show of them.

The whole thing is a work played on the Orphans without them ever knowing from higher powers and those hands change over from slavers to businessmen and finally to potential revolutionaries.

It's a fucking joke they got out of that finale with only Biscuit suffering for Orga's true incompetence.
