So, anyone else here, like me, who never wants to see a Rekka story again? This episode of Retsuden was painful, it was just the worst parts of The Tougen Flute again, down to Rekka's dad coming down and saving her again.

I would love some sort of ongoing storyline that crosses generations in Retsuden. It would work better for Garo where the different casts are all tied to the same heritage unlike other toku franchises where characters with vaguely similar equipment and powers just happen to use similar names.

Yep. Queen Esmeralda (Alfonso's mom) and Anna (Leon's mom) were sisters separated when they were too young to remember each other.

Rafael was also somehow related to the family if I remember right, which was why Alfonso was able to become Gaia.

Plot is to do with a ring that resurrects people? trying to decipher google translate isn't always easy. As a side note, the running time is listed as 78 minutes
