It wouldn't make sense for Garma or characters in similar positions to Garma to be a Newtype. In their stories, these types of characters are ones who are attached to an 'old system', who only got to where they were because of blood ties. They may be competent but they're not people who build new eras, which is why The Char has to destroy The Garma. Their deaths open the door for a new era to begin, at least in the context of the stories they're in. A symbolic severing of the old structure to the future because you kill the 'young prince' who was destined to become a King or leader one day.

Assuming she makes it to axis, it's pretty interesting butterfly effect.

When you stop and consider that Axis/first Neo Zeon defeated the federation, it's easy to imagine where things lead. With a proper Zabi in charge Glemmy's revolt will never take form. This means that zeon won't cannibalize itself, so that the AEUG could finish it off. This should secure side 3 turning into the full principality once again. However, this is also where things get interesting, glemmy may well try to assassinate Kycillia in revenge for Gihren. Things could all fall apart from there.
