Not a movie, it would take more than 6 months to deliver and they are working on too much movies currently to do another one (G-Reco compilation movies, Zegapain, Accel World, NotDunbine sequel, Origins OVA and probably movie-tier for the last one).

I think they did another Buddy Complex, they tested the waters with the anime with a sequel in mind and depending on the success they do more or less episodes.

I can't see Sunrise wasting another 25 episodes on IBO, maybe 2/3 TV OVA to introduce the next 3/4 Grazes Variants they couldn't add in the anime.

Only thing that surprised me this ep was Ein jobbing, letting Lafter, Azee and Shino survive. Not only that but Mika's "who's that?" and emotionless "he wanted to die" responses to his ramblings about Crank just seemed like a write-off. He went from a legit threat last episode to a joke.

I still wish there was more focus on Mackie and how he got to the point in ep 18 where he's planning his betrayal.

Everyone knew Ein would lose, but that was just awful. They didn't even show the fight, the parts they did show were all jerky and looked like shit, and then Mika wins literally because of "he just wanted it more lol" and Heart of the Gundams.

I am seriously shaking my head here. Kimaris Trooper was wasted too. The fights in IBO are such shit because there's just no tension. No one even comes close to the main characters, and the one time they bring out someone who is actually a match for Mika the fight is off camera and Ein rants in the background while Mika just asks Barbatos to let him win... I am in disbelief.

The thing about Gundam 00 is that Gundam 00 S1 was good. And when it ended it basically told a full story, like they could continue it, but you could also stop watching there and feel satisfied.

IBO was boring, with a cast so dull everyone rooted for the bad guys, and it felt like the story didn't even begin until episode 20.

His eye might have been hurt by it, since bloody face is the normal symbol of that and an eye is a good step up from the nose, but I think his arm was just hurt in the battle - since Ein was still overwhelming him and causing damage despite that reaction upgrade. Next season Mika was presumably face more AV system users. Who knows though.

The last few episodes were pretty good so I'll be cautiously optimistic, but as it stands IBO is objectively the worst Gundam.

Episode 3 and 25 were the best episodes. If S2 has some good fights like McGillis vs. Gaelio and Ein vs. Mika, I'd be okay with it even if the animation wasn't the greatest.
