Yes. I have read most of the manga. It's poorly crammed into the 18 minute format. If they can't do it properly, then they shouldn't over-emphasize its emotional impact by being melodramatic. The first episode actually had a good balance of action and drama.

Sounds like a logical plan. It's supposedly important enough to be considered an objective, but let's just send a bunch of kids to to see if some of them turns into Amuro. Even though none of them had shown the natural talent of Amuro, or even get placed in the Gundam. It wasn't Io's fleet that asked for a bunch of kids to gets newtypes, it was HQ. Io's fleet just got sent them and they're trying to use them, as they should. Hell they probably received commands to specifically use them, because that's the point.

And remember, Amuro is the first newtype the federation knew about, it's not like they really know the conditions with which a newtype is 'created', so brute forcing kids into combat might just work, from their perspective. It seemed to work for Amuro.

Thunderbolt manga's version of A Bao a Qu is pretty badass. There's just not enough cool meshing of mech combat and infantry in these things.

First of all, there's no raws.
Second of all, Thunderbolt Ep 2 still doesn't even have official subs.
Third, the english subs we did get were translated from spanish fansubs.

As someone said in the other thread, in Japan, the TB series is streamed through their paid service. Sunrise is waiting for it to finish off in Japan so that all the Elevens will have already watched (and paid for it).

There were actually a lot of nippons that complained that Sunrise made Episode 1 free outside Japan even if only for a few days because they paid to see while the rest of the world did not, legally.

What's going to happen now is all 4 episodes will be either be straight to DVD release via Righstuf or it will eventually be a Premium Content (paid) on Daisuki.
