might have mistook the era in my mind for the 80's. I thought for sure there were more of those white wind/speedlines used.

Kinda looks more like an old Hannah-Barbera action cartoon to me, like The Herculoids or something. Specially the monster design. The music doesn't sound like anime at all.

It's totally awesome either way, I'm just sayin'.
