The Spic meme makes no sense. It was mazinger that has a huge hit in south america. The spic meme started becuase of how fucking angry south americans got over Shin Mazinger, and Mazinkaizer SKL, for not being identical to the original series. How the fuck did the spic meme get transferred to Getter Robo? Hell there isn't even a new Getter Thing for them to get angry about. Did somebody just try forcing a meme and it stuck?

So despite getter robo being on /m/ for years, suddenly Getter Robo is the worst fanbase ever because why? Hell at least the sudden Kuuga hate made sense, because that came after a huge have of people overrating it when it was first subbed. The getter manga was translated years ago, and then forgotten. Why are people suddenly pissed off about it, and it's fans now, for no apparent reason?

Like I guessed, everyone Musashi knew had been told he's dead. The team isn't very team-ly even before Ryoma shows up, and Shishikima is just a regular scientist instead of a crazy weapon-loving old man. The last one kinda annoys me, but he could change as the series goes on.
