From the sound of it Grateful works as a summoner and summoned spirits do their thing with their weapons.

Infinite Ghost will probably be more streamlined. As in, Takeru will be able to use every form of weapon and ability without switching forms or summoning help to do it.

Ghost is definitely going Drive's route, though I would say that Ghost's climb to the top is a little smoother.

Damn, Ghost is really turning out to be great. Hopefully it doesn't turn so good that I regret not getting shit like the Musashi SHF and become sad that Ghost may not get a lot of support in SHF form.

Granted I'm not to interested in the alternate forms, but it would be a shame to not get SHF of stuff like the various Ganma soldier ranks.

the difference between Cubi and Her is that Cubi outright hated to fight,

Cubi refused the orders of KMS to fight, he just painted, Honor ganma didn't refused the order to kill Takeru and Specter, she just had the code of not attacking Kids and women.
She was an honorable villain.

Yes, but their defects were different, Cubi was useless for Igor because he refused outright to fight(his painting skills only worked once for Igor), She wasn't useless because even before being brainwashed she was ready to kill Takeru and Specter, her "defect" wasn't as severe or limiting to Igor's goals, she was stealing souls, fought Takeru and Specter and after her brainwash she stole everyone's soul, actually takeru broke her mindcontrol so this fight she had against Onari and Akari was on her own normal self.

That said, the second 99 days has been nothing short of excellent. Ghost has really turned into a fantastic ride.

A lot of the weakness is due to the fact that first 12-14 episodes focused on a) shilling the toys and b) setting up the starting point of Takeru as a weak person epitomized where Spectre beats the shit out of him (and he actually does the cuck walk) and Akari has to save the Musashi eyecon. At this point we are past both of these and he is actually growing a spine.
