It's because it's made of concrete, right?

Everything in the soviet union was made of fucking concrete.
>>

I don't think the person who wrote this knew what a Bolshevik is. It's not just a standard term for a communist, it's a specific political faction in Imperial Russia and later the Soviet Union.
>>
>>13971337
In the 1943, when german tanks with new cannons became a big threat, an engineer N. Tsygankov decided to fit T-34 with additional 40 cm armor plates made out of concrete. This tank was invincible for PzKpw V's cannon at 300 m distance. The tank became 4 tonns heavier.

I never get this statement. Does working as a writer for a newspaper/magazine not count as a REAL job? This feels like the people who shit on everyone whose career isn't an ultra-high collar job or suffering like a ditch digger. It's a commission, you're paid to do it, why does it not count as a job other than it's not as hard as the job you do?
>>
>>13972623
>only do a low stakes job
>hey rich people should died(sic)
>>
>>13972626

Except he didn't say that, Lenin was the one who said that.

Marx said that if the blue collar workers get continually shit on and have their rights ignored, eventually they're going to get angry enough that it can't be contained.

I grew up in the literal third world so I have a lot more of a reason to hate the rich profitting off suffering than you do. You've never lived in a place where there's nothing keeping those higher up in status from stepping on you.
>>
>>13972642

I grew up in the literal third world and my mother always used to refer to the middle class as the "burgis", a loanword. She always had a snort of derisive laughter when she said it.

There was this hint of "how dare those poorfags not be as rich as us" in her voice. This woman, who marched in the last revolution, became the establishment when she inherited her family's wealth.

It's a generational story.

I'd love to but it seems every politician that isn't a socialist is actively trying to effectively destroy the middle class, so you either have poorfags or richfags.
The actual bourgeoisie or middle class is on the brink of extinction, so using the term is useless.
>>
You have to understand that the russian revolution was the result of the Czar Nicholas II screwing over the people again and again and keep doing things to make them angry.

First, they lost a war to Japan that in all reality they would have won in a month if they didn't surrender. And this wasn't another European empire defeating them, it was Japan. Not to mention that it was an unpopular war to begin with because Russia was not prepared for a long walking war all the way over on the other side of Asia. So all of that's a major blow to the Czar's popularity and to the government as a whole.

This helped to lead to the 1905 revolution, and...you know what, it's just easier to link this since he goes into detail with everything about Nicholas.

Yes I know it's from an LP, but the guy actually researched his history.

>You have to understand...

what the fuck is the point of this post?
>>
>>13972754

That you can't view the russian revolution and Lenin through the eyes of modern times, you have to see from the perspective of people at the time what caused it to happen. Otherwise no conflict in history is justified.

GAS THE COLONIES, SPACE WAR NOW

GIHREN WAS RIGHT
>>
>>13972772

Yes, if they had held out longer. Japan was fighting an amazing string of victories, but it completely annihilated their nation's supplies for the military as a result. If Russia decided to just keep fighting another month, Japan simply wouldn't have any resources to keep fighting with and Russia could force a surrender out of them. But Russia didn't know that, how could they know that, the Russian government was thousands of miles away. Japan primarily won in the long run because of the fog of war.

I don't like communism, I am just a lover of history and I hate when people inject their personal bias towards idealogy and people when it comes to facts.

Is Tangifying humanity communist or socialist?
>>
>>13972819

Neither, it's transhumanist.
>>
>>13972805

Actually he did many things wrong, from a factual standpoint independent of one's feelings toward him.

He didn't listen to his generals because of his belief in innate German superiority, leading to harmful tactical decisions made.

By the last 2 years of the war he was spending more resources on his "kill the jews" policy than he was supposed to spend on his "win the war" policy. I'm not saying he would have won the war either way because historically no one wins a war against russia if you don't stop fighting, simply because they have more warm bodies than you have bullets to shoot them with.

He also though Mussolini was good at fighting a war, which even at the time is probably the stupidest decision a human being could possibly make.
>>
>>13972824
But the Seele's leaders were all rich crooks, I bet they were trying to tap into the Capital of collective consciousness to maximize the profit of the Soul at the expenses of the tangified masses.
>>
>>13972909

But the fact is, people were happy with tangifying because people don't want to feel pain.

Yui said that if people will it, they can return like Shinji does. But at the movie's end, all we see is Asuka and Shinji, so if we decide to return is up to the individual.
