How come anyone ripped the BDs for these series yet? What happened?

Effort.
Though I don't see why anyone would want Tekkaman Blade BDs, the show looks absolutely horrible already. Getting it in BD quality will just exacerbate its visual flaws.

But there's no fun in poking fun at the crappy visuals.

Price probably. The Tekkaman Blade blurays are like $330.

There are the OPs and select few episodes with some select scenes.
Don't forget Galvion OP, I'll take any 80's mecha I can get.

Never saw Galvion, is it good or at least decent?

You had it right the first time.

The premise is stupid and the first episode was boring.
But the OP is great.

It's a bit better than Tobikage, middle of the road. Great OP and some enjoyable mecha scenes. I think the BDs are on ADC which makes it more frustrating that I can't watch some HD raws. ;_;

I already knew that, even got the complete song, but only read bad things about the series and couldn't find any working torrents.

Are you volunteering anonymous? You can put up the money and order them.
You can then get a BR drive and rip them yourself, or you can have them sent to someone who does.
Tekkaman Blade was one of my first /m/ shows. It was like a serious cartoon that aired on Fox Saturday afternoons. I had never seen anything like it. The idea of a show having a storyline that didn't reset each week was pretty wild for me.
one cringe-inducing side effect of megazone ending up on nyaa is the eventual butchering of it into Robotech by the last fan remnants.
