Also, I'm on episode 4 of Gaia. I have to say, in general I really like it, but the show's biggest issue to me is Gamu (the protag). He's a massive upstart prick the way he keeps disobeying orders constantly and demanding shit from veteran pilots who have been training for years. I was actually mad that there was no consequence to him high jacking a fighter plane. I hope he grows out of this phase, considering it's harder and harder to believe that everyone is ok with his attitude. I get he was one of the creators of their equipment, but that doesn't change his actions.

That's mostly the sluggish Hi No Tori's fault (although I don't understand why Kou never did more scripts, even though she loved comparing it to Da Garn). Then again, the overall situation is dreadful.
