Considering BX's absolute lack of difficulty, good partner bonuses aren't really a good enough excuse to drag something as poor as most of the AGE grunts to end game. Weapon damage upgrades are only topped at, what, 300? They'd be 100(150?) under a regular game or the first NG+. The results from the latter are hardly worth the space, likewise for the Armor boost considering that the Inspire system will have you dodging everything late game.
Shanalua is comparatively the most effective of the Earth Federation grunts, by virtue that she has access to Resupply.

I know what you mean, yeah. I chalk that up to some of the limitations of the engine, because fun as it is, SRC can be weird at times, but it does make for interesting touches. (and since data's primarily text, it's not like it'd be hard to edit. The map-bot you showed could be altered in the files to remove the M from their attacks and they'd probably turn into normal attacks then.)

Sometimes I like to look at the stats of the mecha in SRC and imagine how they'd look in a more proper SRW. Because some got a lot better in SRW compared to SRC, like Galient and Gorg for prime examples.

Unless you're doing a NUR anything less than a 20% boost isn't worth the massive movement penalties that it usually gives to landbound units. And no, it wasn't for no reason, AKC was a fucking big company in J until their moon HQ got trashed, they had been building and testing mechs using Fury tech provided to them by the Fury, whatever J original you picked was a prototype that was built by them that Touya's dad (or was it his uncle?
