I think you're talking about the same ones. Keroro made a bunch of clones, and each one had a different personality based on different countries, since he used the technique from the Seven of Seven reference ninja, where each clone ends up with a different personality.

Anyway, I remember one of those Keroros appeared in a later chapter, contacted by Keroro for some reason I can't remember right now, so they're still in contact with each other, just don't appear much.

Apparently this tie-in came out last year in Korea, this year is just the Japanese release. They do seem to have custom facial animations, which is nice.

Yeah, Katoki made one design for each platoon member and one for Garuru. I think the only ones that actually got produced were Keroro's, Giroro's and Garuru's though.

Given the explanation about how they'd shorten her life or make her lose memories if they're a couple years off as to her exact age, how did they even know to set the correct setting on the age ray gun to turn her back to her current age, merely by only knowing she got turned back to a 5 year old? Guess they just sprayed and prayed. Or they didn't exactly do it after all.

Presumably they knew her current age, but didn't know how much they'd have to age her to make her reach it, since they didn't know the age of child Aki. So, by knowing that she was 5 years old they could add her age back without problems.

I don't think we'll see the pilot eps they did, though, though that would be cool.

Vic's Keroro voice is weird as said, but it would have been a better (and more completely dubbed) future than this timeline where we have nothing to look forward to but more suffering for any sort of English language Keroro material.

It had some fuckups in earlier episodes when they were trying to be cute and "cool" with it, but it was still good, and the VAs really had the characters down/were godly in it. which also makes it REALLY fun to read the manga in their voices.

And personally, I wouldn't have become a Keroro fan without it.

An exaggeration. the Keroro anime, moreso than the manga, even, has a lot of humor dealing with the unique elements of the Japanese language that are pretty hard to get across to a western audience. Hell, imagine the dub getting to the episode in pic related.

It still keeps quite a bit of the humor as it is in Japanese, like the numerous Gundam/Gunpla refs and such, of course.

They're new to most English speakers, at least. They debut in volume 22 (which can be read scanlated) which the English publication misses by 1 book, and newer chapters don't use them as much if at all. They also don't appear in anime form outside the flash shorts from 2 years ago, where New Keroro was voiced by Aoi Yuuki and etc.

Kaneami is a girl who likes aliens so much she gets surgery to become one, or something? I actually haven't read her focus chapters, just ones where she appears. She a cute though.

Given his smarts/on-point-ness, nobody else on Earth, at least, looking anything like him (don't think anyone his age shares his hair color either) and how he's so distant from and so "out there" compared to the rest of the cast, I actually feel kinda stupid I didn't at least speculate on something like that being revealed.

I haven't read/watched a ton of Keroro but I guess it's not a surprise because I suspected him of it at first and then never read the next ton of volumes where they assume he's human. Still, it's great that we're finally getting some plot on it.

In a later scene in the same episode, he's shown using the reality pen to travel to alternate realities, and in one of them there was a "Saburo" was leading Earth's invasion (and referencing Earth as "Pekopon").

if to reconsider, it's possible Mutsumi was an alien.

consider the following:
- keroro was foolish enough to reveal himself, just because Natsumi's 'million-to-one' random trick to wake Fuyuki from bed.
- Tamama revealed himself to Momoka because JUNK FOODS, sort of.
- Dororo was ensnared by ancient trap. since it was made by ninja so it's a moot point of not being seen, because ninja.
- Giroro never reveal himself but to Keroro platoon only.
- Kururu never reveal himself, but Mutsumi was able to see him through without any problem

there's chapter where Keroro initially into Pekopon & did assist Hinata family relocate to city indirectly, as in manga content.
somehow it was a little confuse so might just left it as it was.

In that particular ep, the platoon made a "compression" machine to make any incomplete thing into a version of it that's easy to finish/complete (like if you throw a movie into it, it comes with a version that summarizes it in less than a minute) while still keeping the satisfaction and essence as if someone had done it entirely on their own. One of the things Keroro throws in there for reasons is an MG Dom, and it ended up coming out like that.

New Keroro, Tomosu, and Kaneami show up (speak of the devil: >>14017945 >>14021390), with New Keroro also sensing a non-Keronian allied alien with his new-gen Kero Ball. Fuyuki tries to break through the dimensional wall to the copied dimension that the alien and Aki are in with Keroro's Kero Ball but a voice comes on saying it doesn't have that function pls buy the new version for that, so New Keroro uses his.

The invader's Guard Machines stop Aki from leaving when Fuyuki/Natsumi call to her, and also won't he let them get past to see Aki. Powered Natsumi, appearing for the first time in forever, manga-wise (redesign/recolor?) and New Keroro go on the offensive while Fuyuki stays back for support, or tries to.

Actually, I think he's Mutsumi's adoptive father. He was originally an Earthling (Mutsumi in the flashback references the aliens as "ojisantachi" in the first panel of the flashback and asks if they're aliens). It seems that they took him for a while and he returned to Earth only some years later.

This chapter reveals that his floating and wings have nothing to do with Kururu's reality pen though, so it seems like they modified him into something similar to them during the time he was in space.
