You know, I'm kinda sick of having to bend in discussion and say well certain bits may confuse people. People like to say it only brings up points once but there are a lot it does repeat, I've seen people say Su Cordism never gets explained but it talked about every episode.

Okay the dialogue can be a bit fast sometimes (too bad video players don't have some kind of rewind function) but the show proved how little some people pay attention when they watch stuff and how little they think about it

I think a lot of people struggle with Greco by over thinking. They see that Greco needs you to pay attention so assume that must means it is super complex, when really Greco is a lot of simple detail that form a larger whole. I actually like this way of doing it more as it ends up feeling more cohesive than most stories that try to be very big a complex but fail to think it through.

It also doesn't help though that people will miss points which means when they then over think they just get lost and blame the show.

I think what people really want is an in depth explanation to how Su Cordism was implemented and why it has so many followers despite their current tech level. To me it always seemed like an easy indoctrination tool and idoltry worship isn't even all that uncommon.

That's something of an unfair ask for most shows. Like in 0079 we how the Zabi's run stuff, structure of their government etc just that they are dictators and assume a lot from that. When shows do add all that stuff it usually ends up being a lot of fluff that doesn't fit all that well together, like in IBO.

I think people probably ask for more as when they are confused things become very black and white, it either has to perfectly explain stuff or it makes no sense. In general Greco has been hurt by that because of the reputation any piece that could be scrutinised is. It is also possibly because mech show attract a certain type of people who don't think of things in terms of a story put as blocks of information like specifications. That's just me musing though


Also if anyone is interested they should read up of cargo cults as there are obvious links with sucordism

A lot of well known VAs are in G Reco but they all have tiny roles. Koyasu was only in two episodes as La Gu who has probably less than 10 lines and his assistant is Ami Koshimizu.
