Rebuild of Evangelion.
Probably the only time I've ever really respected the use of CG in anything.
Break Blade
>>13852935
>Zeta Gundam ANT's three movies
Haven't seen them, don't they shoddily add in the 80's TV footage?
>>13852935
>no one else chooses this
Itai
TasuketeAlso go watch Exodus already.
>>13852979
The transitions from 80s footage to newly animated scenes are pretty bad at times, but the new animation by itself is quite decent looking. For example, watch this aerial battle scene, up to the point where the Asshimar punches the Hyaku Shiki.

Gothicmade.
Show me evidence to the contrary.I bet you can't
>>13853065
It's like the original movies to, the amount of new stuff they animated increases each movie too. Mainly they mostly fix the rough back and fourth transitions that were really rough in that first one.
>>13852935
>Mazinkaiser VS Ankoku Daishogun
The OVA looked better.
>>13852935
>>E7 movie (...which isn't really a choice, but whatever)
Why not?
>>13851270
Anything that isn't shiny as fuck?
>>13854131
No weird lighting, more mechanical greeble, andshading?
>>13851211
>direct animation in a way where it's difficult to tell what's going on and hides your cinematographic flaws/poor art

???
But nothing is obscured?
I think you might just be retarded.
>>13852665
As much as I love Redline it is not a mecha movie. No, the Boincar doesn't count since its not the main focus.
Pacific Rim
Or if we're talking anime onry, Shin Vs Neo Getter
>>13853353
That's the understatement of the century. Mazinkaiser had amazing and consistent animation throughout the whole thing
>>13855065
well mecha in japan is just short for mechanical. tomino even classified the wind rises as mecha due to its focus on the mechanics of airplanes
>>13854141
More like studio Khara and Trigger these days.
>>13851270
>Iron Giant came out in 2000
Feels like it's older than that.
>>13854141
you left autism.exe on
>>13856870
You're right it came out in 1999
>>13854417
He never said anything about obscuring, though.
