The guy who runs the Tsundere rip group made a release of the JP BD on Sukebei. He manually re-inserted the uncensored sex scenes from the American DVD into it. The picture is quite bad. They did in fact release a Mezzo Forte BD along with it, and according to ADC it is also very bad.

Yesterday I watched episode 2 dubbed and I didn't expect it to be this good. Whoever is doing Gai may not be based Hiyama, but he still does a great job. Hell, even the kid's voices are very close to the originals.

There are a few things I don't like, though:
- Why do they call Gai *the* cyborg-Gai? It makes the characters sound like they consider him a thing, instead of a human.
- "Engaging Final Fusion": I assume they added the "engaging" to fit the mouth movements, but it's still silly because the original japanese dub doesn't follow them either.
- Penchinon. Noone can beat japanese Penchinon.

Not exactly on topic, but since Shir isn't able to work on Changeman and Flashman for a week, I'll be working on Mospeada.

It's something I've always believed, that if the dub actors know what kind of show they're dubbing, they'll turn in a better performance, which Mike did.

It's like with New Getter. It must have been on purpose that they had Ryouma/Hayato/Benkei played by Lex Lang, Kirk Thornton, and Michael McConnolie respectively. Because Lex and Kirk can act batshit insane if needed, and Michael can ham it up like no tommorow. And it works in the show.
