Who M3 here?
Not this shit again.
>>13799952
Should I give this a second chance? Last time I dropped it because it was way too edgy.
>>13800138
It stays edgy during the whole show, so you better not.
>>13800138
It's a slow burn, but it's pretty good once things get rolling. The series slowly eases off the "edgy" (not that the word has any meaning these days) as it goes, especially in the second half.
>>13799952
Deeply satisfying ending though
>>13799983
Who is that /M/echamon?
>>13800177
Ending was fantastic. I wish the "average"-Vess couple banged, but I figured in Chinese cartoon terms a kiss is about the same.
>>13800218
Holding hands = sex with a condom
Kiss = sex without a condom
>>13800218
They surely had lots of sex off-screen.Now that I think about it, the basketball game at the end could've been a metaphor for their first time.
>>13799952
Anyone else feel like /gfd/ from /d/ would like this show?
>>13800138
>>13800148
>this is considered edgy now
Its like you guys don't even /m/

Well this just moved M3 up my backlog
>>13802972
good.
>>13803166
What a fun guy.
>>13803268
best comeuppance
>>13799988
Wait, so that's what M3 stands for?
>>13799952
M3 taught me that to have the best character development you need to make the characters a bunch of insufferable shitbags in the beginning.
>>13803532
Raika and Iwato where pretty bro
>>13803537
Well yeah, they were decent guys, so was Sasame.
But on the other hand we have, before their character development kicks in:
Akashi - an abrasive ass with an inferiority complex towards his older brother and trust issues towards most people
Emiru - slutty bitch constantly putting on airs.
Mahmu - self-esteem below ground level, spiteful of everyone.
Heito - do I need to say more?
Minashi - now that I think about it he was just slightly creepy with his lack of care about people's private space.
I've got to say, I don't think I ever did such a fast 180' on a character as the one I did on Emiru. I went from "Christ, can this girl just die and fuck off already" to"OH FUCK EMIRU PLEASE DON'T DIE FUCK THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING"
>>13803530
I don't think so.
M3 could easily refer to the fact that there are 3 MA-Vesses.
Or a theory from an anon that ties together the Mortal Metal Shibagane manga which is apparently related to M3.
>Mortal Metal -> MM
>the Metal is mortal, and thus it died, falling over on its side
>therefore M3
Its also supported by the fact that title of the show basically has the M fall over to make M3.
>>13803579
Does anyone have the picture of the Green MA-Vess from the Vita game? It looked really great but well, more MA-Vesses only means one thing.
>>13803579
>>13803530
the vita game is called Mission Memento Mori.
even got a 4th MA-vess.
>>13803591
Its called Vert.
Its also confirmed to be piloted by Raika.
>>13803595
>Its also confirmed to be piloted by Raika.
But I don't want Iwato to become a lim ;_;

Just think how the world would advance if he and Warren Statesman worked together.
>>13799976
>>13799979
>>13799983
Man, I'd dig any figure of the MA-VESSes
>>13803547
>Spoilers
Exactly how I felt when certain scenes kicked in. Man, I was expecting edge the likes of Akame ga Kill but I'm so glad it changed.
>>13803604
>>13803547
Heito never really got development though. He was pretty much an edgelord from his introduction up until getting LIMd, and even after that too.
>>13803719
mmm. Id argue that was his purpose though. He was there to really show how baldly the lightless realm can fuck up a person, and honestly I don't think Id like it if he was cured with the power of friendship. That'd suck, so really outside of outright killing him dead Im not sure what else really could have been done with the guy and I actually prefer they didn't take the easy road of killing him because like Tsgumi he was only a victim himself. The show really seemed to get that teens shouldn't be tried like adults or expected to act like them.
>>13802972
It was a hug.
>>13800138
If you're familiar with Junichi Sato's other works, you may get used to the mood quickly enough.
>>13803963
M3 feels very different from his other works that I've seen
bluray rips when?
>>13803996
https://kaixerho.wordpress.com/ His old computer went to shit and he got a new one. If i recall he still hasn't made a satisfying encode yet.
>>13805429
Here's to hoping he can be able to get to his other projects, in the meantime.
>>13803973
It does end happily, that much is expected.

Sable can pretty much be called Akashi's theme.
The tone of the OP and ED changing to fit the show's changing tone was pretty good.
>>13808214
YOU TRY TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE

ANOTHER LETDOWN
>>13808624
>the first OP/ED was sad and rather bleak at some points. And mellow too
>the second gets a bit more energetic, as if there's actually some fucking hope that everything's not too fucked
It was a pretty good thing indeed. After that good anon had posted the soundtrack the instrumentals have made for good commute music.
