Akashi - an abrasive ass with an inferiority complex towards his older brother and trust issues towards most people
Emiru - slutty bitch constantly putting on airs.
Mahmu - self-esteem below ground level, spiteful of everyone.
Heito - do I need to say more?
Minashi - now that I think about it he was just slightly creepy with his lack of care about people's private space.

I've got to say, I don't think I ever did such a fast 180' on a character as the one I did on Emiru. I went from "Christ, can this girl just die and fuck off already" to "OH FUCK EMIRU PLEASE DON'T DIE FUCK THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING"

mmm. Id argue that was his purpose though. He was there to really show how baldly the lightless realm can fuck up a person, and honestly I don't think Id like it if he was cured with the power of friendship. That'd suck, so really outside of outright killing him dead Im not sure what else really could have been done with the guy and I actually prefer they didn't take the easy road of killing him because like Tsgumi he was only a victim himself. The show really seemed to get that teens shouldn't be tried like adults or expected to act like them.
