Used to run a machine king based machine deck back in middle school, ran my Spellcasters more but the Machine one was admittedly more fun even if it didn't win as often.

It's supposed to be Rank-Up into. Much like how Great Magnus is a Rank 12 - they don't actually expect you to have three Level 12 monsters, they expect you to pull it out with Magnacarrier and the three components. (And hell, its abilities require you to do that.)
