I love that show despite its wonkiness. It's the most Tomino thing with Victory Gundam.
But never give that man only two cours.

I just love the setting. I'd kill for more things set in the world of Brain Powered.

I'd say world-building in general is Tomino's strongest suit.

I personally love Brain Powered though. It's a mixed bag (Terrible animation, funky pacing) but it's got more positives than negatives in my opinion.

I think all that stopped it from being a must-watch was it's animation budget and the fact that it's maybe five or six episodes too short. It needed just a bit more to it.

It also has some of the best instances of Tomino dialogue ever.

And the Nelly Brain is my favorite Nagano design. The fact that it never got a kit or anything other than a little gashapon figurine is criminal.

I also liked the setting and world-building. Some episodes were actually quite good. But for the love of God I did not understand what the fuck happened in the final episode. Even if it's been a long while since I've seen it, I remember not understanding a lot of what was going on (a problem I did not had in the rest of the series).
