I wasn't then I saw that picture from the intro where the "dimension W" was illustrated as being the negative X axis and I had to see what in the world it was.

To my surprise it actually seems promising so I'll keep watching it for now.

Started reading the manga a bit ago (also, batoto only had up until volume 4, did it stop getting translated). Was pretty damn good actually, so I'm probably gonna watch it.
The MC is actually pretty cool, robot girl is super cute, and the story is pretty interesting.

But that's a great change of pace. Most serious modern shows take the desaturated colors shit too far. I'm glad this one is keeping colors.

Exactly:
The 60 Tower power grid generates a field in which you only need to dip into the surface of Dimension W to generate power.

Before the towers existed, there were ~300 prototype coils (called "Numbers", which are the actual goal of Loser) which had to dip extremely deep into Dimension W to get their power. Needless to say, this can cause shitloads of trouble, e.g. ghosts and zombies, among other things.

Any expectations how mana arcs/volumes we're going to cover since it's only 12 episodes?
