This movie's opening was great. I loved the art they did for each planet, and how Saturn and Jupiter aren't even accurate due to the science at the time. The picture of Mars is amazing.

Metal Guardian Talos

Set in a fantasy Greek world. Many years before the start of the show, a giant flying mountain appeared in the sky, and the locals began to worship it as Olympus. Lightning then began to strike down from the mountain, landing huge metal pillars of different types. People came to these pillars, and the greatest of their number to touch the metal were merged with the living, alien substance like a liquid entering their bloodstream. These people gained great power and immortality and the ability to manipulate the metal in the pillars, but their personalities changed into egotistical god-like beings. The leader of these pillar men and women, Zeus, begins a conquest of the land, and the different gods and goddesses rule their own kingdoms, shaping the metal into mythological beast automatons to control the population.

The protagonist is Asterion, who bumps into the mysterious woman Europa, who gives him a blood transfusion of a mystery bronze substance after he gets injured saving her from brigands. Europa disappears and Asterion starts to feel drawn to a small island, taking a boat there. He discovers a base run by a group of rebel engineers and thinkers called The Philosophers, who have managed to steel a massive bronze pillar for themselves using a complex boat-powered winch. Instead of touching the pillar, the Philosophers have come up with a plan to smelt it and shape it manually, and they have created a crude, muscular giant that sits immobile in the hidden dock. Asterion realises he's being drawn to the lifeless automaton, and the Philosophers place him in control of the hollow compartment in the giant's chest. At this point a pair of metallic Harpies arrive, having tracked down the stolen pillar, and Talos arises to destroy them.

The first half of the show is Asterion and Talos battling and killing the Gods and retaking control for humanity while looking for Europa, while the second half is vs Cronus and his alien Titans.
