Op I'm going to have to agree with you on this. Even having watched Tetsuya 28 go and read part of the giant robo Manga it felt like it was missing something, like explanation who these faggots were. Looked good and was cool but it felt like a sequel to something I'd never watched. Tl;Dr it gets better when you forget the experience and watch something else.
