Story will build conflict between the dead Riders, living Riders, and the Ganma over the collection of Eyecons.

Also more spoops and spoopy music. The tracklist in Ghost has progressively getting good, but it needs some spookier music.

Okay, I know most people are excited and shit, but I sincerely don't like the idea of Rider 1 getting a new form. I don't mind redesigns or whatever, like I liked his design in The First and The Next even though those movies were awful, but a heisei style form change near 45 year after the original seems unnecessary. You know it's not going to fit the original design motif well enough to look coherent, and it kinda defeats the point. Rider 1 doesn't need fancy forms or gimmicks or whatever. His whole thing is pure, justice powered, hot blooded strength. He's a pillar, a symbol meant to represent willpower and courage, and simple good versus evil, that you stand tall on your own. You start turning him into Neo-super-mega Rider 1 EX Turbo Cool Ranch Dai Ultimate Edition, and a bit of that message is lost.

It's almost like they weren't writing Kuuga in connection with any other Rider. It's almost like they wanted a completely new take on Rider that basically destroyed the old image so that people could appreciate and understand the new one. It's almost as though it set a precedent for the next 16 Kamen Riders as having motivations that aren't simply justice and revenge like the Riders of old, but instead things more simple and earnest. No longer is it fighting a massive illumnati-like organization to save the innocent and avenge them ruining your humanity, it's about being cursed with a damned belt that turns you into a monster and deciding to use it so that you can protect the joy of those around you. It's almost like Kuuga is a Rider that protects, instead of a Rider that fights.

The big issue with the Kuuga OP - as much as I adore it - is it's a big fucking lie about the actual show. Which is probably intentional, they present you a grand hero with an amazing song to introduce him with about how legends will be painted, how his evolution will save everyone, how he'll cross every mountain. And then they hand you a show where it's about an obviously traumatized young man fighting for his life with powers he can't understand that grow so strong that everyone around him is concerned, if not scared, of his potential and ends on the least glorious (but still satisfying) note possible compared to basically any other Rider.

Shocker is fine for the idea, maybe they pull off something that just fucks the other Riders up, and with him being the last, he decides to Upgrade himself. The would explain it being a "Rider #1" movie.

With Rider #3 being back, I'd assume somewhere in the movie, Rider #1 analyzes his suit and makes a newer/better one for himself.

That would mean Rider #3 is a villain again, because there is no reason other than "Shocker changed time again.", "Rider #3 is Great Leader", or "They kidnapped him and turned him into Rider #3 again.".
