I thought the movie was weird for that. The meticulous continuity work didn't really gel with "can't go for 10 seconds without a fight scene' for me.
And Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers was a better Ultra movie anyway. Possibly more accessible, too.

It really is. Both teams get focus instead of a disgusting Shinkenger/Goseiger situation, they both get to play to their strengths, the crossover element is used well and the next team teaser is great.

Either I'm in opposite land or I am thinking of something else because I recall people complaining that the Gokaiger team got shafted pretty badly in Go-bus vs. Gokai.

They did.

They took a backseat the moment those Buddyroids shut down. Even the team fight was the Go-Busters and Gokaigers off fighting their enemies. The only the memorable about Go-Busters vs Gokaiger was the mech gokai change and the bad wigs that Don and Luka had on.

Kamen Rider War was surprisingly good. They got as many actors back as they could, and it was a pretty fun romp overall. They found fucking ZX's actor.
