ToQger would've been 48 if not for the ToQger vs. Gaim special. With the exception of Goranger, which was exceptionally long, and J.A.K.Q., which was exceptionally short, the average has always been late-40s/early-50s.

Sentai shows have always lasted for 12 months since Battle Fever brought the franchise back, almost always starting and ending in February. That some have more/less episodes than their predecessors/successors is just because of working around pre-emptions and other production stuff, it's nothing major. The only real important one is Changeman lasting to 55 episodes due to production delays meaning it couldn't premiere until March 1st.

Absolutely this!!! I would put Ninninger in the same realm as Goseiger which was extremely average but enjoyable. Toqger was a complete chore to watch and the only reason why I see folks try to praise it is because Kobayashi wrote it.
