So, what's the gimmick going to be for the rest of the series now that they're getting rid of the "100 days to collect 15 Eyecons" thing? Assumedly it was planned to run them through the first 15-30 episodes (one Eyecon a week, or one per two-parter depending on how they want to pass time in the show), but they've shifted the schedule up really early as if it was never meant to be important in the first place.

Either they decided that it was going to be a shitty gimmick and trashed it early on (odd given that they could have simply elected not to do it at all instead), or the writer is trolling us.

Man, the music choice in Ghost is superb, especially in this scene. They really did a great job with all the background stuff.

Really? For me it's gotten better with every episode since Specter popped in. Yeah, we had to deal with Takeru constantly reassuring himself, but the fights have been good, and they've been doing a good job in trying to get you to want to unravel the mystery of Takeru's dad and pals and what happened to Specter. Even though the suits aren't too great and the Eyecons feel very rushed, it's gotten much better since the start, and I'm starting to enjoy it. It's starting to go places.

Now that it's over, it feels like the eyecon hunt was really unnecessary. They should have just started with all 15 in play and an initial power struggle to sell them. I'm glad were finally getting to the big tit now.

I would have liked the eyecon hunt more if they didn't rush it out so hard, and if your had to form some sort of bond with an eyecon to use it. The fact that 8 of them just popped out of nowhere just makes Takeru's earlier efforts to obtain them look like a waste of time.

I'm kind of glad the Eyecon hunt is out of the way now. I feel like the writer just kinda wanted to get it out of the way to get on with the story, which I'm okay with. It also means no more of Takeru's life hugs.

Also, did anyone else think that someone was going to start singing during the battle song? It really sounded like a vocal insert song, but then it wasn't. It was still really good, but the music so far has definitely been a strong point in general.

There's essentially no way this wasn't the plan from the beginning. Christmas marks the first big story arc in many Rider shows: Fourze brought in the last Kamen Rider Club member, Wizard fought Phoenix, Gaim dropped the dancing and built to introducing the Genesis Riders, Drive had the Volt storyline that introduced Medic. Ghost finishing the 99 days story arc and making the shift towards bringing the real main conflict of the show to the forefront is totally normal.

I was hoping that at one point Kanon would opt or be forced into the Rider ghost mantle because... I dunno. Either Spectre got fucked or a Ganma possessed her to do it.

Then we can either get a brother-sister Rider duo or have more tension between Makoto and Kanon made tenser by them being close siblings. Like Makoto would be slowly delving into being a nutso over their deaths to the point Kanon will bail on living again. Then she tries to knock some sense into him herself, making it poetic I guess. Okay, so it seems like the turn of events for Makoto and Kanon after going to the Ganma World are

>They meet Aran
>Aran probably let them stay at his family's monster mash mansion/castle
>This is why they allude to each other as longtime friends/acquaintances these paat few episodes
>Aran is probably the one who mentions that Makoto and Kanon can return to life
>King Monster Mash, Aran's dad, has a nefarious plot
>It was either the King or Aran Mash who gives Makoto the ability to be a Rider, with the King thinking Makoto and Kanon could help serve his plot
>Kanon probably opts out of the deal because she is scared or suspicious of the King/Aran, thus leaving her as an Eyecon in the real world instead of as another Rider

Also Sage is related to the Ganma royal family and it is the royal family that can make people Rider ghosts.
And Aran will turn on Papa Ganma because Papa Ganma's evil game is too strong even for him. Javel will resentfully die at the hands of Aran because while he cares for Aran, he trusts the fate of the Ganma in the King more than his rebellious brat.

That's my speculation for the day.

Sometimes they look like wierd random costumes such as the bee woman or that alice in wonderland guy. And sometimes they seem to have a historical weapon or warrior theme going on.

I thought for sure she was a Bee merged with Annie Oakley, it's like how you had the animal mashups in original kamen rider like Cheetah Snail, so it's animals mixed with historical figures for Ghost.

Well, I guess "Seiryuto" Ganma was Dragonish, but that's just a pun on the weapon's name (Seiryu being a dragon) with his design basically being a mix of Guan Yu, the wielder of that weapon, and some dragon bits referencing the "Seiryu" part of the weapon's name.

The Bee Ganma looked like that because her item was a magnifying glass used for studying insects.

Ganma theming has almost nothing to do with animals.
