BB Senshi Sangokuden started and ended in that way (or at least I think it did?) SD Gundam Sangokuden only covered a part of it.

Everyone's familiar with Bandai Hobby Division's BBsenshi model kits. However, during the SD Gundam fad from the late 80s to mid-90s, there was another significant SD Gundam model-kit line by Bandai's Toys Division. This Gensou SD Gundam line had larger and more toyetic designs, it uses kid-friendly durable plastics.

While BBsenshi later focused more on the Sengokuden spin-offs, Gensou SD Gundam continued to cover kits based off all three spinoff-themes.

I was intending on a sort of "Best of Zeon" theme, with Full Frontal, Haman, Char, and Gato leading forces made up entirely of Zeonic units, but there were too many other units I wanted to use, so I just sort of forgot about it. Truly, there's too much shit to mess around with in this game.

Are these designs for a planned anime sequel?

Have all the SD Gundam series ever been subbed? I've never managed to track down the SD Gundam Musha movie, SD Gundam Festival or the Many Things SD Gundam specials. It's kinda annoying having those being the only things I'm unable to watch.

They looked like nice updates to the old Musha Gundams with reference to actual warlords. It's clearly an experiment by Bandai to see if the Sengoku theme worked as well as the Three Kingdoms theme.
