I liked the airship fight. Ashley was fighting without using his head, just going all emotional, so it made sense that he got carried away and ran out of ammo. He never was portrayed as a tactician.He's a street urchin after all.

The drones certainly were destroyed but still managed to distract the Britannians for a while and reduced the effects of their surprise attack.

Beyond that, Leila has not even contemplated piloting a robot again, so it's pretty clear she is more at ease in a command room than in a robot.
